Sundown, Windjana
Windjana Gorge in the Kimberley is a powerfully spiritual place where aborigines congregated to paint Wandjinas, the spirit people they believed responsible for bringing the annual wet seasons. Sunset here sets fire to the dark rocks and has been a daily ritual since time immemorial.
