Lake View
 

Near the gravel pit, a gnarled old angophora has surveyed the view over the Lake for many decades, clinging to its precarious perch on a rocky knob. It is the subject of one of my favourite watercolours by Dorothy Gordon and I remember her taking us to this site.

After the floods this year, the water was yellow and gold with no blue sky reflecting on this rather cloudy day.
