Hot green and herons
Pre-Christmas 2010. The
green is varnished, hot and neon, I reach for my sunnies and the pot of
iridescent green ink I thought I’d never use. White-necked Herons are
often loners, but not here, there were at least six at one shallow
waterhole near Blackall.
