As we head homeward from the north or west I’m always conscious of the colour changes. Even when the country is dry, our southern wintry weather makes for much more blue on the palette. This one was helped by the wet weather, painted between Tambo and Augathella. My pencilled notes say it all – “and this was just the table drain!
